Mount View Hotel - Kamikawa (Hokkaido)

This hotel exceeded my expectations in several ways. First, the price was incredibly reasonable, making it excellent value for money. Additionally, the staff were incredibly attentive to detail, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was taken care of. I particularly appreciated their effort to make us feel welcome, even providing a handwritten note in English upon our arrival. Moreover, the location of the hotel, nestled down the slope from the main road, offered stunning views of a rushing stream from our room. Finally, the breakfast provided was delicious and provided a great start to the day.

The hotel is located in a very convenient area, close to public transportation and good restaurants. The breakfast had a good variety of options for all tastes and the rooms were clean and spacious.

We had some trouble finding the hotel at first, as the signage could be improved for better directions. The staff was somewhat aloof and did not offer much help with directions or recommendations for the area.

The location is excellent, being just a short walk from the snow festival and bus stop. The staff are very helpful and hospitable. The room offers a fantastic view over the river. The hotel's onsen and free tea facilities add to the comfort of the stay. The hotel issuper clean and cozy, with delicious dinner and breakfast options.

Great staff and location! The hotel's facilities, like the onsen, are amazing and the breakfast was delicious. It's also conveniently close to the bus terminal and within walking distance to the waterfall and ropeway station.

Nothing it was perfect.

Conveniently located near the cable car and restaurants. the staff was friendly and accommodating. I appreciated the option to play table tennis for free.

My experience was ruined by the uncleanliness of the carpets in the room. They were so dirty that I felt uncomfortable taking off my socks.

This hotel is conveniently located near all major Kimikawa attractions. Situated down slope from main road, it offers easy access to the bus terminal, and is close to everything. the room was spacious and clean, with well-maintained fittings. the breakfast was satisfying.

The hotel had a strong, unpleasant tobacco smell throughout, which made it difficult for me to sleep.
